The premier organization in Chicagoland for a NSBE alumni member to build their professional network, develop their career, and gain access to professional and community service resources.
Our members work and reside in the city of Chicago, Chicago suburbs, and in northwest Indiana. Majority of our members were NSBE members during their undergraduate studies.

-To make the Chicagoland community aware of the contributions that Black Engineers
have made and are making
-To provide workshops and networking events for our members so that we can grow professionally
-Encourage advanced degrees, entrepreneurship, and to explore different areas of one's
profession
-To participate in community services throughout the Chicagoland and Northwest
Indiana communities
-To provide opportunities for our members to network, socialize, and have fun

To increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, suceed professionally and positively impact the community.
